The Northern Ireland Women’s Football Association (NIWFA) Committee are currently preparing for the new season which will kick off in April 2012.
We anticipate a league structure of 6 divisions with a maximum of 8 teams per division and a further division for reserve sides.
There are currently a number of vacancies in the league and expressions of interest from clubs seeking entry to play in the NIWFA should be submitted to the (acting) league secretary Andy Hall by no later than Friday 27th January 2012.

The expression of interest must include name, address, telephone number and email address of the main contact person along with a brief history of the club.
Existing member clubs intending to enter a team in the reserve division for the first time should also notify the (acting) secretary of their intentions.
The committee will arrange formal interview for all clubs wishing to enter teams in the NIWFA leagues. Following interviews clubs will be advised whether they have been successful.
There are a limited number of vacancies and the NIWFA committee will only accept clubs into the league, that they consider to have sufficient capacity to ensure that their team is not only represented at league meetings but will also be able to fulfil all fixtures.
