The NIWFA are pleased to announce that the nominations for the Player of the Year Awards for each division will be released shortly on the website.
Referees at all NIWFA league games were asked to nominate their player of the match and the nominee was noted on the match card.
Around 95% of match cards have been returned and the list of nominees has now been drawn up
Letters have been sent out to the players that received the three highest numbers of nominations from referees – clubs will also be notified shortly.
Once the players have received their letters a full list of nominees will feature on the website.
The winners will be announced at the NIWFA annual dinner and awards night at the Culloden Hotel on Saturday 29 October 2011.
