It was a fantastic week both in terms of weather and football!
Donard Park was in immaculate condition, and bathed in sunshine through-out, with an added bonus of a team from English premier league side Wolverhampton Wanderers training on the nearby Bear Park.
Seamus was assisted by current NI ladies International Ashley Hutton and Lisburn Distillery midfielder Gary Thompson.
Some forty boys and girls had a fun packed week, learning new soccer skills, making new friends and playing plenty of football!
At the end of the week everyone received a free Umbro pack that included a ball as well as a Nutty Krust goody bag.
“It’s been another busy week for me and I would like to thank Nutty Krust for their continuing support of the grassroots programme” said Seamus
“Everyone has had a great time, the weather was marvellous and the children also got the chance to meet the Wolves players and in particular senior international Johnny Gorman”
“I have another four fun weeks to organise so I am going to be very busy over the next month or so” added Seamus

Joining Seamus on the fun weeks was NI ladies international Ashley Hutton who plays for Glentoran BU.
“This is the first soccer school that I have worked on since being appointed as an IFA schools coach” said Ashley
“I have been really impressed with the standard of the young players taking part and the facilities in Newcastle are really good”
“I am looking forward to working on the rest of the soccer schools in the district”
Next up is Kilmore playing fields from Monday 25 July 2011 to Friday 29 July 2011. There are still some places available and the cost is £35pp and can be booked on line at www.irishfasoccerschools.com
