Following their Coca Cola Cup victory on Monday, Valley hosted Bangor in a Davisons Division Two fixture two nights later.

The home side took a 3rd min lead when from a corner kick Rebecca McAtee, Amy Burden and Stefanie McCullough combining with the latter netting clinically.
The blustery wind proved problematical Lyn Johnston flashing a shot over the bar for Valley with Bangor retaliating when Jessica Beers saw her shot saved by Suzanne McCullough. Beers wove another opportunity but shot wide when well placed in the 15th min.
In the next phase of play Bangor’s thrusts floundered on the rock, which is home centre half Leanne Forsythe. The Valley Ladies were territorially superior without adding to their early strike in the latter stages of the half Amy Burden having one shot saved by Tina Sharpe and another goes inches wide following an exchange with Elaine Orr, Kerri Graham, McAtee and Orr then linked with Orr’s shot hitting the bar.
On the restart Valley were more positive gleaming reward in the 7th min Johnston, Orr and Amy burden linking with burden netting her first of the night. It took only two more minutes for burden to find the net for her 2nd. Recently turned fourteen years old Amy was denied twice by substitute keeper before completing her hat trick in the 25th min. Burden didn’t stop there her 4th and Valleys 5th came shortly after from a well timed pass from Orr. Rebecca McAtee then saw her net bound effort taken off the line in the 35th min. four minutes later Amy Burden capped a magnificent second half when she ran onto her own pass to add another one to her own tally and her teams 6th goal of the night.
