Congratulations to Downpatrick Ladies on winning the Davisons Frudles Division 1 Cup at the Danny Blanchflower stadium tonight (27th August 2010).
In a highly entertaining match Downpatrick eventally laid the ghosts of the last 3 years to rest when they have ended up as runners up in Cup games – to secure this years Division 1 Cup.
The player of the match was Downpatrick’s Donna-Marie Carson who scored a hat-trick and the managament team will be hoping she is on fire next week when Downpatrick meet Larne on Tuesday and Thursday nights in the play-off games between the Championship and Division 1.
