Alfie Wylie’s side started the game well and had a number of opportunities; however it was the home side which took the lead on 15 minutes through captain Anastassia Morkorvkina, before Kaire Palmaru scored their second on 31 minutes.
However the Northern Ireland girls fought back in the second half and pulled one back on 59 minutes through Alex Hurst and were unlucky not to get another.
During the 90 minutes, Northern Ireland had eight goal attempts in comparison to Estonia’s four attempts.
Next up for Northern Ireland is a World Cup Qualifier away to Iceland on Saturday June 19, before the girls take on Serbia at the Coleraine Showgrounds on Wednesday 23 June, kick-off: 7.45pm.
