The NIWFA is hosting an event on 26 January 2010 at IFA headquarters to announce a new sponsor for the forth coming season.
The new season will kick off in April with a total of 6 divisions each comprising of 8 teams and a further division for reserve sides.
There are a number of vacancies in the league and applications from new clubs to play in the NIWFA should be submitted to the league secretary Audrey Hanna by no later than Friday 29th January 2010.

The application should include name, address, telephone number and email address of the main contact person along with a brief history of the club.
Existing member clubs intending to play a side in the reserve division should also submit an application.The committee will then ask all applicant clubs to attend a formal interview after which the various clubs will be advised whether they are being accepted into the NIWFA.
There are a limited number of vacancies and the committee will only select what they consider to be the very best clubs to join the NIWFA.
