The Reserves have demonstrated a solid performance all season and in fact never lost a match and conceded only 6 goals in ten games. The League table evidences a very strong defence coupled with the match winning ability of scoring goals.
The Manager and Coaches are particularly pleased that the reserves string has given some younger players the platform to perform, notably this year Shannon Gratton and Rebekah Craig, who both at only 14 and 15 have a bright future ahead at GBU. Notably also this year has been the addition of Katie Farrell a very promising goalkeeper who at only 16 will no doubt greatly benefit from the great regime at the Club and hopefully follow in the traditions of very good goalkeepers at the Club.
Congratulations to Cpt Colleen Hinton who has grown in stature this season with the additional responsibility of leading the squad. The blend of youthful exuberance and more experienced know how is an excellent formula for success.
