IFA Representative Terry Pateman presents Crusaders Newtownabbey Strikers Danielle McDowell with her Coca-Cola Player of the match award after scoring 2 goals in their 5-0 Semi Final win over Dromore Amateur Ladies.

This Semi Final of the Women’s Coca-Cola Cup at rain lashed Ballyskeagh saw a end to end first half with both sides having chances that couldn’t be converted into a goal.
Both Keepers saw shots go wide of their goal’s and both sides were glad to see the 1/2 time whistle.

The second half was 2 mins old when Crusaders Newtownabbey Strikers opened the scoring with Terri Harper, Julie Nelson then slotted in on the 66th min and this was followed on 70 mins by Lisa Armour.

The game seemed over when on 73 mins “Player of the Game” Danielle McDowell got her 1st and the Strikers 4th

The game was 2 mins into extra time when the Strikers got a penalty which saw “Player of the Game” Danielle McDowell score from the spot and give the Strikers a convincing 5-0 win and go through to the Final against Belfast rivals Glentoran Belfast Utd.
