Fermanagh Mallards V Loughgall Lakers
Davidsons Frudles Championship League
-Mallards played their final game of the league against joint leaders loughgall in a game that would decide the title.
-It was an evenly matched and exciting game throughout.
-Mallards opening attack came in the early minutes with Louise Noble hitting the crossbar.
-Mallards defence proved once again strong to deny loughgall any real chances in the first half.
-Mallards hit the woodwork again with a Nicki Hynes shot hitting the post
SECOND HALF
-Loughgall showed strong determination in the second half.
-Plenty of missed chances from both sides
-3mins from the end Mallards fighting spirit paid off through a fantastic Louise MCfrederick goal which left her the
hero of a huge match.
Mallards ended the season by lifting the cup and being promoted to the premier league.
They would also like to thank everyone who attended the game to show their support for the team. Mallards play Loughgall
again in the Championship cup final on the 6th September in Dungannon.
